Sustainable Energy Finance and Investment Summit 2013 - Zagreb, Croatia

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU)
ACL European Consultancy Ltd is delighted to have worked with Anglia Ruskin University to explore opportunities available through the
(2007-13) European Structural Fund Programmes and deliver a report to help inform the development of a longer term European Strategy for the University.
ACL European is pleased to have provided advice and support on the successful revision of the Low Carbon KEEP ERDF project business case. The project supports collaboration between SMEs and research providers, in order to carry out 'low carbon' projects. The Low Carbon KEEP (Knowledge-East of England-Partners) programme enables businesses to improve their competitiveness by working with an academic and graduate.
ACL European is delighted to have worked on development of the ERDF ARU Low Carbon MedTech Innovation Project. Information on the wider MedTech Campus project can be found here.
ACL European worked with Anglia Ruskin University in identifying and preparing for opportunities made available in the 2014-20 programme period.
University of East Anglia ADAPT Group
ACL European supported the UEA ADAPT team in revision of the Low Carbon Innovation Fund (LCIF) venture capital equity investment fund project in September/
October 2011 securing an additional £4.5m ERDF investment into the fund now worth over £31m. Details of the fund can be found via the
project website www.lowcarbonfund.co.uk .
Further work was delivered in December 2012 to enhance the fund by an additional £8m of ERDF. The total project value has now increased to over £50m.
InCrops project extension - ACL European is delighted to have advised on the successful bid to extend the InCrops ERDF project.
Norwich Research Park - Enterprise Centre Exemplar Building - ACL European has supported the UEA ADAPT team in further developing and enhancing this significant capital project.
Broadland Green Homes - ACL European has provided advice and support on the development of a business case and application for ERDF
funding.

Southend YMCA
ACL European has worked with Southend YMCA advising on technical aspects relating to delivery of an ERDF project.
Trades Union Congress - Southern and Eastern Region (SERTUC)
ACL European advised SERTUC on the development of European and Structural and Investment funds for the 2014-20 period and looking at the SERTUC and TUC role as a social partner in delivery of the funds.
ONE East Midlands
ACL European has completed a series of four ERDF Opportunity Events across the East Midlands Region for ONE East Midlands. Events were held in Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln and Derby. The purpose of the events was to raise awareness of ERDF fuding opportunities for the voluntary and community sector. Information on ONE East Midlands can be found here.
Breckland Council
ACL European and associates delivered consultancy work for Breckland Council and ongoing work to support development of ERDF projects.
ACL European is delighted to have contributed to the successful development and submission of the £8.5m ERDF Local Economy Growth and Efficiency (LEGE) project. The project offers grants for small businesses. It provides: capital grants for SMEs to purchase/install efficient new processes, production facilities and clean tech, helping them to invest-to-grow; revenue grants and other direct assistance to support SMEs to promote products/services such clean technology and renewable energy. Central Bedfordshire Council
ACL European, alongside Deyton bell, worked with Central Bedfordshire Council and partners Cranfield University, University of Bedfordshire and Lloyds Bank to develop an innovation related project (Innovation Bridge) for funding under the 2007-13 programme period. The project was a success and has been replicated in a number of areas in the 2014-2020 period.
State Chancellery Republic of Latvia - Riga
ACL European is pleased to announce successful delivery of ERDF and Cohesion Fund consultancy work for the State Chancellery of Latvia relating to technical aspects of structural fund delivery.
The Netherlands
ACL European is delighted to have supported delivery of a technical seminar for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation in The Hague, Netherlands.
Northern Ireland
ACL European delivered a seminar in December 2012 for staff working on structural funds programme delivery in Northern Ireland. The seminar was arranged through the Department for Enterprise, Trade and Investment in Northern Ireland. A further seminar in Northern Ireland (for a different delivery body) is planned later in 2013.
Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC)
ACL European is very pleased to have advised CEC about the potential use of EU funding to support an expansion of the Enterprise Adviser Network (EAN). A study report was presented to CEC in May 2016 and to a meeting of CEC and LEP Skills leads. CEC website can be accessed from here.
The Royal Opera House and High House Production Park
ACL European is delighted to have supported the Royal Opera House and High House Production Park (HHPP) develop and deliver a substantial ERDF capital and revenue project aimed at the Creative and Cultural sector. The project was completed in 2015.
