I can't believe it happened again! Tuesday 11th October. I was watching a very boring England World Cup qualifier. It was around 9.00pm. A knock at the door.
Of course we hoped it wasn't our cat. We had never even seen her go near the road, let alone cross the road. Credit to the man who stopped and knocked on our door. His wife was driving and was clearly distraught. So, just 16 months since poor Buster lost his life on the road, Millie was killed on the same spot and she was only three years' old. Our two previous cats lived to 19 years old avoiding the road.
Millie will be hugely missed. She'd often jump on my desk during the working day and scatter papers all over the floor! She would sit on the keyboard sending and deleting e-mails (my excuse if you didn't get a reply). She was a wonderful friendly and affectionate cat. We are devestated and miss her so much.
